EOS – EUROPA OPEN SOURCE is a project conceived with a dinamic vision of communication.  Through simple technics, EOS gives the solution to transform information (as unilateral process)  into communication (as partecipative process).  Those simple technics are nothing but internet instruments.

The whole project is organised in three items:

The first one is related to the setting of an <EUROPEAN PUBLIC SPHERE> as internet tv; this will be a most suitable instrument to increase attention and debate, especially working on dialogue among citizen of several local level, who share (or who are interested to confront) values and common roots in culture. Because of the present conditions of technology, the idea is simple to realize, nevertheless this is no lesser relevant on the level of cultural profile, which requires  qualified competences and professionalities, whose realization will allows to mantein on high levels innovation and experimentation.  It is not to forget that the European Commission indicates  2009 as “European year of creativity”.

The second step to define EOS - EUROPA OPEN SOURCE, is given by the realization of an international connference unpon the argument of new currents which are  going to interpret OPEN SOURCE as philosophic matter which follows the mind (and behaviour) changes caused by the opening of the communications systems and their impact on single people and their organisational forms.  This is an argument with several important consequences on the sharing values and with the possibility to create qualified relation on cultural tourism.  The project will be presented with the intervention of external partners (MANCHESTER / UK e MALTA) and this will be able to develop further advancement in international partnership projects.

Third segment is the practical application.  If the first step can be defined as promotional communication (involving institutions, local government, firms, ong, etc.) and territorial valorisation and improvement in  exchange attitude through local levels, the aim of the second step is to enlarge and share these arguments through an international conference, with the partecipation of external members (intervents from Manchester, UK, and Malta are previews).

To create conditions for sharing, contaminating,  intensity in communication and feedback: these are the keys to increase commerce and tourism and growth opportunities in economic and culture.  The final issues of the project is to create an experience of active tourism, which partecipate of territory and landscape valorisating the meaningful expressions linked to communication activities.

This objective can be perfectly manifested as CONNECTIVE EXPERIENCE, which is the creation of an happening able to relate integrated relations in tourism (according to the INTERREG consoidated formula), where the relation is the link (as disposablity to work together, to share, to travel) between people sho share the research on common roots in Mediterranean and European culture.

The output of this experimentation will be objectivated by the construction of a pilot happening which will be recorded and made watchable on DVD and it will be the role of vehicle for the promotion of further happenings.
